The Learning Sciences and Human Development graduate program explores how learning, growth, and culture intersect across diverse environments. Our research examines these processes in real-world contexts - from homes and neighborhoods to educational institutions and professional settings spanning early childhood through higher education. As an interdisciplinary team, we operate at multiple levels (local to global) with a common dedication to equity. Our methodologies range from ethnographic studies to experimental designs and everything in between. What unites us is a shared passion for translating research into meaningful improvements in people's lives. Students collaborate with us on cutting-edge investigations supported by various public and private funding initiatives.
