Success demands significant dedication, with students required to live in Seattle and fully engage in the program. Under faculty supervision, doctoral candidates will design individualized study plans featuring one primary specialization and at least two secondary focus areas. Beyond classroom learning, departments conduct frequent seminars where students and professors analyze and discuss cutting-edge research in their discipline.
