Biochemistry explores the chemical processes within living organisms. Biochemistry degree programs provide education in organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry alongside biology, genetics, and biochemistry studies. Students can choose elective courses to specialize in various advanced topics related to biological chemistry.
The Bachelor of Science program offers comprehensive training with extensive laboratory experience. This degree provides strong foundations for those pursuing careers in Chemistry or Biochemistry. It also prepares students exceptionally well for professional programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and other healthcare-related fields.
Student must have a High School Qualification.
Due to limited testing availability from COVID-19, the UW will accept the Duolingo’s English Test for autumn 2021 applicants. A minimum score of 105 will be required for admission. The TOEFL iBT special home edition and the IELTS Indicator at home exam will also be accepted for 2021 international freshman applicants.
