The University of Washington's Turkish and Ottoman Studies Program fosters academic exchange and research to cultivate a comprehensive, multidisciplinary perspective on Turkey. Through intensive studies in language, literature, history, politics, and culture spanning both modern Turkey and the Ottoman Empire, the program enhances critical knowledge. Regardless of whether you are applying as a U.S. or international student, if you have attended a school outside of the U.S. that follows a national compulsory curriculum, you are required to upload a scanned, unofficial copy of your transcript for grade levels 9 and higher in the Upload section of the UW questions portion of your online application. TOEFL (iBT) - 76, IELTS - 6.0.
