The Mathematics Department provides four specialized tracks tailored for students pursuing pure mathematics. These programs cultivate abilities in abstract reasoning, precise logic, analytical skills, clear communication, and scholarly writing. Mathematics education equips learners with versatile capabilities applicable across diverse fields, ranging from computer programming to economic analysis to education. The Standard track serves students seeking a flexible Mathematics degree. While its requirements are less restrictive than other tracks, we advise selecting complementary electives to deepen expertise in particular mathematical domains, potentially paired with a minor in a related discipline. Course offerings include algebra, geometry, topology, combinatorics, analysis, number theory, optimization, and probability studies.
