In the B.A. in Greek program, students examine an intricate society whose ideas and traditions continue to influence modern communities worldwide. They develop deep proficiency in ancient Greek language, literature, and culture, broadening their understanding of contemporary debates in cultural, intellectual, professional, and civic spheres. Through engaging language instruction, focused courses covering subjects from epic poetry to ancient athletics, and accessible study abroad programs, students cultivate abilities in critical thinking, teamwork, and compelling communication. Alumni enter diverse professions including teaching, legal practice, media, commerce, and healthcare.
Student must have a High School Qualification.
Due to limited testing availability from COVID-19, the UW will accept the Duolingo’s English Test for autumn 2021 applicants. A minimum score of 105 will be required for admission. The TOEFL iBT special home edition and the IELTS Indicator at home exam will also be accepted for 2021 international freshman applicants.
