Entrepreneurship emphasizes strategic planning, financial management, and marketing approaches for new ventures. Learners will develop business concepts, prepare financial projections and marketing strategies, and implement their ideas through student organizations, case challenges, and hands-on experiences - turning entrepreneurial aspirations into actionable plans. We suggest seeking guidance from experienced mentors, investigating various business models, and utilizing campus resources such as Start-Up Hall, the Foster School's Startup UW club, and the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship. The Buerk Center welcomes all students interested in launching new businesses or joining startup teams, regardless of their academic discipline. Discover available programs, student organizations, contests, and enrichment opportunities by attending a quarterly Buerk Center Open House (held during each quarter's opening weeks) or visiting the center at your convenience.
