The two-year Accounting Option equips students for professional roles across private firms, government agencies, non-profits, and public accounting practices. With businesses increasingly needing financial planning and oversight, accounting professionals are in strong demand. Alumni pursue careers as internal auditors, cost accountants, tax specialists, financial planners, or government financial analysts. Completing this program qualifies students to sit for the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) examination. Those pursuing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification must complete at least 225 quarter credits or five years of higher education.
