This program explores the interplay between art, media, and cultural evolution. Students examine formal, aesthetic, and societal perspectives on literature, visual arts, film, music, and various media forms. The curriculum offers broad exposure to multiple disciplines while allowing for focused study in specific areas. Participants develop practical skills applicable to visual arts, film, literature, and media across domestic and global settings. Graduates with an Arts, Media and Culture degree qualify for diverse professional paths in publishing, creative industries, media, museums, public relations, and historical preservation. The program equally serves students seeking comprehensive cultural knowledge and those preparing for graduate studies in performing/visual arts or humanities disciplines.
Student must have a High School Qualification.
Due to limited testing availability from COVID-19, the UW will accept the Duolingo’s English Test for autumn 2021 applicants. A minimum score of 105 will be required for admission. The TOEFL iBT special home edition and the IELTS Indicator at home exam will also be accepted for 2021 international freshman applicants.
