The IVA program centers on research-driven artistic creation, fostering interdisciplinary innovation. Participants cultivate a distinct visual style that reflects their involvement in wider cultural dialogues. Built on teamwork, the initiative empowers students through flexible course options and theme-based classes aimed at guiding personal exploration. Resources encompass the Print and Publications Studios, Sculpture/Textiles Workspace, 3D Digital Fabrication Studio, The Room Installation/Gallery Space, and The Link Space Workshop.
BA in Art students specializing in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts (IVA) gain artistic expertise by taking curated studio courses (including ceramics, glasswork, painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, and photography), art history classes, and hands-on learning experiences. The curriculum offers interdisciplinary studio subjects and culminates in senior capstone projects. Learners can also explore complementary fields like film studies, architecture, business, digital arts, experimental media, and animation to enhance their primary focus.
