The School of Law provides a combined degree option in partnership with the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, enabling students to earn both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) within four years rather than the typical five-year timeline for completing these degrees separately. This initiative caters to individuals seeking specialized qualifications in both legal studies and public policy. Prospective participants must gain independent acceptance to both the Law School and Batten School. Applications can be submitted either before enrollment or during the first year at either institution, with all candidates evaluated under standard admission criteria regardless of their dual-degree aspirations. Following separate admissions to both schools, students may petition the Program Committee for entry into the joint degree track. Program acceptance depends on specific criteria established by the Committee and is not automatically granted based on dual school admission.
