Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students at the School of Nursing complete coursework covering anatomy and physiology, developmental stages, medication science, disease processes, management skills, and clinical nursing. Each student engages in research projects, either individually or collaboratively. Upon completion, graduates qualify to sit for the NCLEX licensing exam. The RN to BSN track provides licensed registered nurses holding associate degrees or diplomas an opportunity to obtain their bachelor's degree. This pathway is designed for RNs seeking expanded healthcare responsibilities, leadership positions, enhanced career flexibility, or preparation for advanced nursing education to become practitioners, researchers, or educators in the nursing field.
