Graduates will gain the skills to support students with common disabilities, including learning challenges (such as difficulties with reading, writing, or mathematics), mild to moderate cognitive impairments, behavioral and emotional disorders, and speech/language conditions. They'll learn to implement research-backed teaching methods for academic and behavioral support across kindergarten through 12th grade in various educational environments. Those pursuing Mild/Moderate studies are advised to consider adding the ESL Endorsement to their qualifications.
