The Rehabilitation Science Ph.D. Program aims to enhance scientific understanding that supports rehabilitation clinical practice by cultivating research, teaching, and professional service skills. Prospective students must demonstrate a keen interest in conducting research, teaching, and serving in rehabilitation-related disciplines. Candidates should possess either a master's degree or clinical doctorate in health sciences or rehabilitation (such as DPT or MD). Highly qualified bachelor's degree holders with significant clinical or research backgrounds in health sciences may also be eligible for consideration.

Qualification Requirements

Every applicant must meet the requirements set by the Graduate School. Minimum requirements: An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, based on all undergraduate work. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Proof of English Language Proficiency must be demonstrated in one of the following ways: TOEFL: minimum score of 80 (Internet-based test) or 550 (paper-based test) IELTS: An overall minimum band score of 6.5.
