The graphics and visualization specialization encompasses research across numerous computer graphics domains, such as geometric modeling, CAD/CAM systems, isogeometric analysis, scientific and biomedical visualization, information visualization techniques, visual analytics, computer vision applications, terrain modeling and rendering technologies, haptic feedback systems, photorealistic rendering, physics-based simulations, real-time graphics processing, GPU programming methodologies, computer animation, digital geometry manipulation, virtual reality environments, and studies in visual perception and spatial awareness. Each year, around 100 students join our graduate programs, with roughly equal numbers pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. We maintain selective admission criteria, resulting in intense competition for the available spots. Selection considers both academic achievements and demonstrated research capabilities.
