Each year, around 100 students join the graduate program, evenly distributed between the M.S. and PhD tracks. The School of Computing's M.S. program offers both thesis and non-thesis options, delivering thorough coursework and research opportunities. Financial support through teaching assistantships, research positions, and fellowships is typically available for graduate students. Due to our selective admissions process, competition for available spots is intense, with decisions based on academic achievements and research capabilities. The graphics and visualization specialization covers diverse computer graphics fields such as geometric modeling, CAD/CAM, isogeometric analysis, various visualization techniques (scientific, biomedical, information), visual analytics, computer vision, terrain modeling, haptic feedback systems, advanced rendering techniques, physics-based simulations, GPU programming, animation, digital geometry processing, virtual environments, and visual perception studies.
