The Biochemistry & Structural Biology Interest Group organizes various initiatives for graduate students, offering specialized elective courses, discussion-based journal clubs, and lectures featuring globally renowned researchers. Affiliated labs focus on deciphering the molecular mechanisms behind key biological phenomena through diverse methodologies such as x-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, cryo-EM, enzyme studies, viral research, and protein engineering. Faculty involved in this group welcome students enrolled in the Biological Chemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate Programs.
