Our program trains nursing professionals for top-tier practice, providing students with the expertise and abilities to take leadership roles in intricate healthcare environments, foster innovation, and implement optimal methods to enhance care quality.
To explore our DNP Program further, we recommend attending an information session. We'll review the application procedure before transitioning to specialized breakout sessions with faculty and current students. Schedule and specifics will be shared. The BS-DNP program spans three years (eight consecutive semesters) and is exclusively offered as a full-time curriculum. Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) serve as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), delivering complete care to high-risk newborns and their families. The NNP track establishes a solid grounding in the embryological, physiological, and pathological aspects of both acute and chronic neonatal conditions. Before starting clinical coursework, the National Certification Corporation mandates at least two years of full-time clinical RN experience (within the past five years) in critical neonatal or infant care settings. Students can begin preclinical studies while gaining required experience.
