Participants benefit from extensive podium opportunities within a vibrant educational setting. The three-year DMA curriculum requires 59-60 credit hours, including private conducting instruction, large ensemble participation, music history and literature studies, advanced music theory, conducting seminars, performance practice classes, and coursework in a related discipline. Completion involves writing a dissertation essay and presenting four recitals.
