The Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission.
The mechanical engineering faculty provides a curriculum culminating in the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.) degree. Consistent with the missions of the University and The College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the mechanical engineering program aims to equip graduates with skills to apply knowledge for professional careers internationally, pursue advanced education, and continue professional growth.
Graduates of the mechanical engineering undergraduate program will demonstrate:
A solid grounding in thermal and mechanical systems disciplines,
Proficiency in designing and developing complex engineering systems, Capability to work professionally in culturally diverse settings,
