The Manufacturing Processes and Systems research team directs engineering expertise toward addressing industrial and manufacturing challenges. This program uniquely combines hands-on factory experience with advanced computational tools like CAD/CAM technologies. We examine manufacturing processes through practical application while enhancing them with theoretical modeling. Our research tracks engineering materials across their entire lifespan - from sourcing raw materials, through production and use, to reprocessing, recycling, and ultimate disposal.
