Students in UToledo's electrical engineering technology program concentrate on developing technical abilities and gaining practical laboratory experience. Our curriculum prioritizes problem-solving and the practical use of theory from the outset. In contrast, electrical engineering undergraduates begin with theoretical foundations before advancing to applications.
This comprehensive understanding across numerous electrical engineering subjects enhances the employability of UToledo graduates. They possess expertise in automated manufacturing, industrial controls, testing procedures, power generation and distribution, digital communications, and instrumentation.
You are considered a freshman if you are coming to UToledo directly from high school and have never attended university. If you took college courses while enrolled in high school, you are still considered a freshman.
