UT Tyler's Psychology Bachelor's program provides a comprehensive foundation in various psychological fields and their real-world uses, preparing you for roles in mental health, social services, marketing, corporate sectors, public administration, and other areas. Select between Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science tracks while gaining hands-on research experience through independent projects or faculty collaborations. Engage in thought-provoking coursework that introduces diverse psychological disciplines to guide your professional path. Both degree options are designed based on your intended career applications. The Bachelor of Arts curriculum includes a 27-credit psychology core plus 12 upper-level elective credits. For the Bachelor of Science, students complete a 30-credit psychology core along with nine approved upper-level psychology electives under faculty guidance.
