The University of Texas at Tyler’s Bachelor of Science in construction engineering prepares you to spearhead these projects using a STEM-focused methodology that highlights research, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.Whether you begin as a freshman or transfer from another school, you’ll acquire the skills to construct and sustain the infrastructure of East Texas and our global community through a curriculum that familiarizes you with the design, planning, and implementation of construction procedures. Construction engineering students address contemporary infrastructure issues, such as transportation networks, environmental facility operations, pavement design, geotechnical design, structural design, and other elements affecting sustainability, durability, and productivity.
