The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program equips students for leadership positions across industrial, governmental, and academic sectors. This mechanical engineering master's program features three specialization tracks: Thermal and Fluid Systems, Mechanics and Materials, and Robotics and Control. Students collaborate with globally renowned faculty on innovative research initiatives supported by both federal organizations and private industries. The program fosters an international learning community with participants from diverse global backgrounds.
The Mechanical Engineering Department provides multiple graduate options, including a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing and Enterprise Engineering, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, along with both Master of Science and Ph.D. programs in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, it includes a Graduate Certificate program in Aerospace Engineering.

Minimum GPA - 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) Departments may consider GPA of last 60 semester credit hours
Coursework - 18 credit hours in an area related to this graduate degree and at least 12 hours must be at the upper-division level.
Transcripts - Required from all institutions attended, international transcripts must be recorded/translated to English
Credential Evaluation - Required if you have earned university-level credit from foreign institutions. Submit an evaluation of your transcripts from Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) directly from the graduate admission application platform
