This interdisciplinary graduate program, offered jointly by UTSA's Department of Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering (Klesse College) and the Department of Information Systems and Cyber Security (Alvarez College of Business), prepares graduates with expertise in biomedical device design, technology commercialization, product development, intellectual property, and business strategies for medical device marketing.
The Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering Department provides multiple advanced education options, including Graduate Certificates in Medical Device Commercialization and Engineering Education, Master's programs in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology Commercialization, and Engineering Education, plus Doctoral degrees in both Biomedical and Chemical Engineering.
