Athletic training concentrators gain qualifications for state licensure, though admission to UTSA's Athletic Training Apprenticeship Program is required. Note that national certification necessitates graduate-level study. Rehabilitation science students build foundations for healthcare careers like physical or occupational therapy, both requiring additional accredited graduate education for licensure.
