You can select between a B.A. in Music or a B.M. with specializations in areas like Music Education, Music Composition, Music Performance, or Music Marketing. Specializations are chosen after admission and consultation with your academic advisor.

The School of Music provides Bachelor of Music (B.M.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music, and B.A. in Commercial and Digital Music degrees. The Bachelor of Music program allows concentrations in Music Education (with full teacher certification), Music Performance, Composition, or Music Marketing. Additionally, minors are available in Dance, Music, Jazz Studies, Music Marketing, and Music Technology. The School maintains accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Music.
Music Education: Student Teaching (CI 4713 Clinical Teaching: All Level EC12. Students implement their music and education knowledge by directing music instruction in public school classrooms, mentored by both a cooperating music teacher and university supervisor.
