UTSA's Marketing program equips you with the skills to understand the strategies behind thriving brands, products, and services. You'll examine how businesses convey their brand strength through both conventional and digital marketing channels, including social media, in today's diverse global marketplace. As marketing plays a pivotal role in generating value and building lasting customer relationships, it has grown indispensable across virtually all sectors. Graduating with a marketing degree opens doors to opportunities in advertising, promotions, sales, market analysis, SEO strategies, and beyond.
While pursuing your degree, you can specialize in a specific business focus area. These specializations, offered through elective coursework, help business students cultivate additional valuable skills. Marketing students can choose from concentrations in analytics, entrepreneurship, global business, organizational leadership, business modeling, or risk assessment.
Alternatively, you may opt for the Sport, Event, and Tourism specialization to pursue careers in amateur sports, venue operations, wellness industries, professional athletics, sports broadcasting, and related fields. Specializations are selected after admission, in consultation with your academic advisor.
