Located at UTSA's Downtown Campus, the program integrates the city into your learning environment. Classes frequently visit City Hall just steps away, while internships are available at numerous nearby agencies. Additional study and professional development opportunities exist in Washington, DC and Texas' state capital, Austin.
Career preparation remains HCAP's foremost commitment. A specialized internship director connects students with employment opportunities and guidance. HCAP students have collectively completed more than 140,000 internship hours. The curriculum incorporates practical learning through undergraduate research, internships, and fieldwork. The HCAP Student Success Center further enhances professional growth with extracurricular leadership training and career development resources.
