The BFA program combines rigorous studio practice with complementary art history and theory studies, while the BA program emphasizes foundational training, specialized studio techniques, and comprehensive art historical knowledge.
At UTSA, student achievement is our priority. Through hands-on learning initiatives, we bridge classroom instruction with practical applications. As a COLFA student, you'll investigate, participate, and contemplate experiences that prepare you for a global career landscape. The COLFA Student Success Center serves as your complete support hub, offering tutoring, internship placements, industry networking, and professional skill-building programs to help you reach your educational and career objectives.
Our printmaking concentration enables students to master conventional printmaking methods. The spacious studio features specialized equipment to support artistic creation, with 24/7 access and collaborative opportunities to refine skills alongside peers.
