The Graduate Certificate in Informatics is a non-degree program at the graduate level designed to enhance the qualifications of professionals with bachelor's degrees in the field of informatics. Participants will gain expertise in programming for integrating real-world systems that involve networking, databases, and cloud technologies. Every course in this graduate certificate program can be fully applied toward the Master of Science in Informatics degree.
Graduate certificates in Cyber Security and Informatics cannot share credit hours between them. Upon finishing both certificates, students need only complete 6 additional hours to earn the MS in Informatics degree: either 6 thesis hours (for those choosing the thesis track) or 6 hours of approved electives (for the coursework option).
