The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security is an advanced, non-degree program designed to enhance the qualifications of professionals with bachelor's degrees in the field of informatics. Participants will develop expertise in programming for real-world applications, including networking, database management, and cloud computing. All coursework from this certificate program can be applied toward the Master of Science in Informatics degree.
Cyber Security and Informatics graduate certificates cannot share credit hours. Upon finishing both certificates, students need only complete 6 additional hours to earn their MS in Informatics: either through thesis work (for thesis track students) or through selected electives (for coursework track students).
