Cybersecurity involves the scientific study of technologies, methodologies, and best practices aimed at safeguarding digital systems, networks, smart devices, applications, and sensitive information against cyber threats, breaches, or unauthorized intrusion. The Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity adopts a multidisciplinary curriculum blending technical expertise with legal, business, and policy knowledge through courses in Cybersecurity, Informatics, Business, Information Security, and Criminal Justice. This undergraduate program aligns with the NICE-WFC (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity) national guidelines.
Students will cultivate continuous learning habits to keep pace with the dynamic cybersecurity landscape. The curriculum covers non-technical fields including business law, criminal justice, and information security. Additionally, students will acquire skills to establish security protocols and implement strategies that ensure operational continuity despite potential risks and security challenges.
