The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences provides a graduate program leading to a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Graduates meet the requirements for Texas licensure and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. The curriculum consists of 97 undergraduate credit hours and 36 graduate credit hours, along with 5-6 semesters of clinical practice. Undergraduate students pursuing this path are classified as Pre-Speech-Language Pathology majors.
