Engineering Optimization applies mathematical optimization methods to meet engineering design objectives, such as selecting optimal solutions among alternatives or determining ideal process parameters. Supply chain management (SCM) oversees product movement, encompassing raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and final products from production to delivery. This system connects networks, distribution channels, and business nodes that collectively provide goods and services to consumers. SCM integrates principles from operations management, logistics, procurement, and IT systems to create a cohesive operational framework.

Qualification Requirements
Students should consult the College of Engineering section in the Graduate Catalog for information on general admission requirements. Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited institution in the United States, or proof of equivalent education from an international institution.
