Neuroscience students conduct research in facilities like the Social Cognition Lab, contributing to impactful studies. They employ experimental approaches and techniques that equip them for professional paths in scientific research, medicine, biomedical sciences, teaching, and healthcare. Learners can select between the Neuroscience B.S. Psychology Track or Biology Track. Both degree pathways share comparable structures, with core classes aligned to their respective departments. For instance, Psychology Track students will complete most core requirements through the Psychology Department, while electives may come from other disciplines (such as Biological Sciences or Chemistry). Although first-year students can select either track, those transferring into neuroscience later should meet with an advisor to identify the optimal track based on their completed coursework.
