The Master of Science in Social Data Analytics and Research program leverages faculty strengths across multiple disciplines including criminology, economics, geospatial sciences, political science, public administration, policy studies, political economy, and sociology to provide comprehensive training applicable to diverse professional fields.
With growing needs for social data generation, gathering, and interpretation across government agencies, nonprofit organizations, corporate entities, academic research centers, and doctoral programs, graduates with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative analytical methods will possess the necessary capabilities to excel in various career paths.
Degree requirements: The MS in Social Data Analytics and Research invites applications from students with a baccalaureate degree from an accredited higher education institution.
GPA: In general, entering students should have earned a minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA on a 4.0-point scale.
