The Accounting program equips future leaders with the professional competencies outlined by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which are crucial for delivering fundamental accounting services in diverse sectors such as corporate finance, auditing, tax preparation, internal controls, public sector accounting, and enterprise resource planning systems. Graduates may qualify to take the Uniform CPA Examination after fulfilling their state's board of accountancy prerequisites.
This program offers adaptable scheduling, enabling students to progress at their preferred speed and customize their education through specialized pathways including public accounting, taxation, auditing, data analysis, and academic research. Classes are available during various times throughout the day, in evening sessions, and through digital platforms. The program accepts new students during autumn, spring, and summer terms.
A bachelor's degree from an institution in the United States, or its equivalent (all majors are considered).
GPA: Students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) in both core courses and in aggregate courses to qualify for the MS degree.
