The Master of Public Policy program provides an interdisciplinary graduate education that equips students with valuable skills for careers in both government and industry. Led by globally renowned faculty at The University of Texas at Dallas, participants build a strong foundation in policy development, implementation analysis, and evaluation, along with practical training in economics, statistics, ethics, and professional communication. Through rigorous coursework, political economy theory, and analytical training - combined with deep policy knowledge - graduates emerge prepared for leadership roles in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and private firms, as well as for pursuing academic careers or research-oriented positions.
Degree requirements: The master's program in Public Policy seeks applications from students with a baccalaureate degree from an institution of higher education.
GPA: Although applications will be reviewed holistically, in general, entering students have earned a 3.0 undergraduate grade point average (GPA) (on a 4.0 point scale).
