Software engineering is a relatively new yet crucial profession in today's world. Nearly every sector - including business, healthcare, banking, national security, academia, and government - relies heavily on software systems and solutions. Drawing from computer science, engineering, and mathematical foundations, software engineering offers methodologies and best practices that enable developers to create robust, secure, and dependable software solutions.
The university's software engineering curriculum falls under its renowned Computer Science Department, home to a globally respected faculty. The department serves over 2,800 students in a state-of-the-art 150,000-square-foot facility equipped with advanced labs and contemporary learning spaces.
