Since 1981, the Energy and Earth Resources Graduate Program has enabled students to engage in cross-disciplinary studies spanning geosciences, engineering, business, finance, economics, legal studies, and policy. Recognized by the Department of Homeland Security as a STEM-designated degree program, it qualifies F-1 students for STEM OPT extensions. Both private and public sector entities increasingly require experts capable of designing, assessing, and overseeing intricate resource initiatives - often global in scale - involving teams with diverse professional expertise. This program prepares individuals for modern careers in energy, mineral, water, and environmental resource sectors.
Students in the Energy and Earth Resources Graduate Program gain access to comprehensive interdisciplinary education across geosciences, engineering, business administration, financial studies, economic theory, legal frameworks, and policy development.
