The LBJ School and Texas Law provide a four-year dual degree program designed to meet growing demand in public and private sectors for professionals skilled in global affairs, legal analysis, and qualified for legal practice. This accelerated program allows students to obtain both degrees in about four years by completing all required coursework in both disciplines. Typically, students follow the first-year curriculum of one degree in their initial year, complete the other program's first-year requirements in their second year, then focus on electives and specialization courses in later years. Both degrees are conferred upon fulfillment of all academic requirements.
