The Art Education graduate program delivers an intensive and prestigious master's curriculum with unique specialization pathways. Foundational core classes establish broad arts teaching principles, which students then refine by concentrating on one of three tracks: School Art Education (with or without certification), Museum Art Education, or Community-Based Art Education.
Upon admission, candidates select a specialization and immerse themselves in its professional context through targeted coursework and mandatory internship experiences. Every student completes substantial scholarly research in art education, resulting in a final thesis project.
