The Executive Ed.D. is a doctoral program in Higher Education Leadership, established in 2019 specifically for working professionals aiming for top administrative and executive positions in higher education. We cultivate leaders capable of guiding dynamic institutions in today's increasingly challenging environment. Our curriculum is delivered by distinguished faculty and experienced higher education administrators who champion equity, diversity, and inclusion. Classes are primarily held on the UT Austin campus, supplemented by online elements.
A master’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution, or proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution in education, the social sciences, or related field.
The minimum scores considered acceptable for admission by the Graduate School are:
TOEFL: 79 on the Internet-based test (iBT)
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 on the Academic Examination
Application deadline: December 01 for summer
