The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program delivers a comprehensive curriculum blending theory with hands-on practice. This program equips graduates for diverse clinical environments while establishing a strong base for pursuing master's or doctoral nursing degrees. BSN graduates will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. The curriculum focuses on developing critical analysis skills, clinical decision-making, and synthesizing knowledge from nursing, biological sciences, behavioral sciences, and humanities to plan, deliver, and assess patient care. Students learn to apply research to evidence-based practice, develop leadership skills, and gain clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings. Admission to the BSN program is extremely selective.
Upon acceptance, BSN students are classified by their current semester. Junior year first-semester students are called J1s, second-semester juniors are J2s, first-semester seniors are S1s, and second-semester seniors are S2s.
If you are an international applicant, you must have completed an accredited secondary school series equivalent to that of a U.S. high school.
Minimum scores acceptable for admission are:
TOEFL: 79 (internet-based test)
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 on the Academic Examination
