The UT Computer Science program offers undergraduates a demanding academic curriculum, featuring over 50 courses covering all aspects of contemporary computer science. Majors establish solid fundamentals in hardware architecture and mathematics, forming the basis for their computing studies, while enjoying numerous choices to tailor their academic path and extracurricular activities to their passions. UT CS students engage in coding competitions, secure internships with both industry leaders and emerging companies, collaborate in labs creating games, applications, and robotic systems, and participate in international study programs. Graduates frequently embark on careers within or beyond the tech industry, while others choose to advance their education through graduate or professional degrees.
If you are an international applicant, you must have completed an accredited secondary school series equivalent to that of a U.S. high school.
Minimum scores acceptable for admission are:
TOEFL: 79 (internet-based test)
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 on the Academic Examination
