UTA's Vocal Arts program fosters a stimulating yet supportive atmosphere for students to develop as performers, educators, and creative artists. Our distinguished faculty delivers engaging instruction, while diverse performance opportunities equip students for successful careers in music.

UTA's choral groups showcase vibrant musical growth. The elite A Cappella Choir features 40-50 accomplished vocalists who tour, record, and appear at prestigious venues nationwide. Meanwhile, the University Singers provides an exceptional ensemble experience for talented students across campus. Both groups present biannual campus concerts and occasionally join forces with orchestral performers. Aspiring choral educators benefit from a thorough curriculum blending classroom instruction with hands-on experience, including teaching practice, conducting opportunities with UTA ensembles, and student teaching placements in top-tier DFW music programs.
