Key goals include equipping students for teaching careers or other professional roles requiring modern language skills, as well as fostering independent research abilities for advanced academic pursuits. The curriculum includes up to six hours of core MODL classes, supplemented by Spanish coursework in linguistics, literature, cultural studies, and translation. This non-thesis Spanish track concludes with a portfolio submission.
