Aligning with The University of Texas at Arlington's commitment to continuous education, the Finance and Real Estate Department has introduced a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development. This specialized program equips experienced real estate practitioners with advanced training in property development to enhance their career growth. The post-baccalaureate Certificate delivers focused education that is more concentrated and briefer than traditional graduate degrees. It's particularly valuable for professionals shifting into real estate development from other real estate sectors or those completing educational prerequisites for professional real estate certifications.
Admissions to the Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development is based upon the general graduate  admission requirements of the University. Generally applicants must have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.9 as calculated by Graduate Admissions. A graduate grade point average is used when the applicant has attained at least 24 graduate semester hours.
Applicants whose undergraduate GPA was less than a 2.9 may still be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development program by meeting the admissions requirements for the M.S. Real Estate program.
